The Channel profile style is meant to be a style that works especially well in the low register. However, at the date of writing, I
am not at all satisfied with this model in its current state. It is available and works, but needs further revision before I would
recommend it as living up to its billing. In my opinion, the sound tends to be too buzzy and it doesn't have the presence of response
in the low register that I intend for it. I have seen and played on reeds with a similar profile style that play well, and I am perfectly
convinced that further work on the design details will yeild a satisfactory result. For those of you who do try the model in its current
version and like it, you can rest assured that the current version will always be available. I would also be greatly appreciative of
input from anyone having experience with reeds bearing a similar profile style.
